Hondo x Talia Litter Announcement

Talia unexpectedly went into labour Saturday June 29, 2025. She whelped with ease, 5 puppies in 4 hours then her contractions ceased. We waited 3 hours then took to the road to the Boreal Emergency Vet in Edmonton. An X Ray confirmed a puppy high up in one of the horns. With one shot of Oxytocin, the boy was born 20 minutes later.

Final count was 4F and 2M. We had our challenges with the late comer as his tongue was very swollen and he wasn’t as vital as the others. For 24 hrs, I tube fed him every hour and left him with the others in between. Last night we found him latched on and nursing vigorously. It was such a relief.

This morning all their weights were up and Talia is doing amazing as a new Mom.

Contemplating using “Bridgerton“ as a naming theme. Either that or Canadian provincial flowers. We’ll see where we land on that one.

Mid delivery with Bobbi Westman. Thank you so much for your Midwoofery skills
